What this page covers

This notice explains what happens to the personal data you give us when you use the contact form on this website. It applies to staithedigital.co.uk only.

What we collect

When you submit our contact form, we collect the information you provide: your name, email address, phone number (if you choose to give it), what you're looking for, and the contents of your message.

Why we collect it

We use this information solely to respond to your enquiry — for example, to reply by email or phone about the project you've described. Our lawful basis for processing this data under UK GDPR is legitimate interest: responding to enquiries from people who have chosen to contact us.

How we store it

Contact form submissions are sent directly to our Gmail inbox. We don't store submissions in a separate database. Copies of the email thread are kept in our inbox for as long as reasonably needed to handle your enquiry and any resulting work, after which they're deleted in the ordinary course of mailbox housekeeping.

Who we share it with

We don't sell or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes. Google processes the email on our behalf purely to deliver it to our inbox, under Gmail's own terms of service.

Cookies and analytics

This site uses cookieless analytics to understand how the site is used in aggregate. It doesn't use cookies or collect personal data for this purpose, so no cookie banner is shown.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR, you can ask us what personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. To do any of this, just get in touch using the contact details below.
